but nevertheless
essential to the whole
and always more
than the sum of your parts
Taking your toll
when playing your role
Pay to your heart’s contents
(blood, veins, arteries and vents)
a constant source
through the system sent
And when your job is done
some more will come
to take your place
until one day…
